Commission sales
In addition to providing Advice on Selling Entwistle regularly acts as agents for collectors, and occasionally institutions, wishing to sell works of Tribal Art on the international market. Sales can be undertaken on either a fixed commission scale or a net consignment.

• Fixed commission sales Entwistle receives an agreed percentage commission of the full sales value of the property. This is usually 15% of the first $50,000 for any individual item and 10% on the balance. Since no premium is paid by the purchaser as is the case at auction these rates significantly reduce the spread between the buyer and the seller and the eventual cost to the seller of selling his property.

• Net consignment In the arrangement, a fixed amount is agreed between Entwistle and the seller with any increment going to Entwistle by way of remuneration.

Outright Purchase
In addition to acting as agents in the sale of Tribal works of art, Entwistle is also in a position to purchase outright if this is the preferred approach of their clients.
